STUART MARKOWITZ, AIA AICP LEED AP
Stuart Markowitz is an Architect and Planner and is president of the Firm.
Stu has broad experience in mid-size to large-scale development projects, a wide range of building and project types and special research projects around the world. Since 1988, he has developed the practice with three areas of professional concentration, traditional design, development consulting and property evaluation, maintenance and rehabilitation. He has provided design and construction administration services and project, property and design evaluation consulting services for projects across the country. A significant number of these projects have been developed with Federal, State or local assistance and oversight.
He holds a certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and is licensed as an architect in eight jurisdictions, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois and the District of Columbia and as a Professional Planner in New Jersey and is a Charter Member of the American Planning Association’s American Institute of Certified Planners. He is also a LEED accredited professional and a member of the US Green Building Council.
Stu served as 2010 President for the Westchester + Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the Board of Directors of AIA New York State in 2011 and 2012.
